Privacy policy

This policy explains what happens to data when you use Changetz at https://changetz.com. The short version: we do not have accounts, we do not have a database, and we never see your list of cities.

What we collect ourselves

Nothing that identifies you. Changetz is a set of static pages. There is no sign-up, no login and no server that stores anything you do here.

Data kept on your own device

Your city list and display preferences are saved in your browser's local storage so the tool remembers them on your next visit. That data never leaves your device, and clearing your browser data removes it. When you use the "copy link" button, your selection is encoded into the URL itself — anyone you send that link to will see the same cities, because they are written in the link.

Advertising

This site is funded by advertising served by Google AdSense.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

Analytics

We use privacy-first analytics that count page views without cookies and without building any profile of you. No personal data is collected and nothing is shared with advertisers.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct and erase personal data held about you. In our case there is nothing to access or erase, because we hold no personal data about you. For data held by Google as a result of the advertising described above, use the Google links in the advertising section.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
